Pictures- knitting and Cake

Just finished Arden's doll!  He has named her Honey, and she's now happily tucked into bed with him.

Plus I just finished my first hand-knitted dish cloth.  Tried it out this evening, feels so much nicer than using a sponge!

Also I made my self a soaked grain lamington cake with 'body' cream for my  birthday cake.  It's the first time in many years that I've had a lamington cake, and the raw cream in it was delicious.

Rain, today and Books

Well it's been a nice stay indoors kind of day today, and since we had no plans that is what we did. I managed to get through a few things that had been waiting for me- phone calls and craft activities.

Willow and Gabriel spent some time on Scratch. We has some russian custard with lunch - very tasty and healthy too! Egg yolks and honey beaten til they are thick and almost white.

Here's the start of my marionette.

And here's my (finally) finished Christmas stocking for Arden.

And I've been reading some interesting maths history, recently in the evenings.

Turned out after some time, I discovered that honey didn't agree with me.  I had chronic rhinitis most of my life until I started juicing when we were living in Scotland, when I started eating honey regularly around this time, it returned!  When I gave up the honey, it was gone again!
